Route details

As with the event base, the focus is on quality with 50 or 80 mile challenges to test your legs.

The 'short' 50 mile option follows quiet back roads past Grassington & Kilnsey before the first testing climb out of Wharfedale from Halton Gill. Here the 'long' route heads north out to Ribblehead returning via Ingleton & Clapham before the routes rejoin for the classic climb of Langcliffe Scar. Sweeping down past Malham Cove, rolling back roads take you back into Wharfedale for the final climb up from Appletreewick before a cheeky uphill sprint finish back to event base.
